Christian Academy Renovation Project

Nehemiah 2:20, “…The God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build…”

Currently, Good Samaritan Christian Academy offers nursery school and primary school (elementary school) on the Children’s Home campus.  Our secondary school (high school) children attend The Emily Institute Secondary school in Blantyre.  The school is about 40 minutes from the children’s home campus.  

One of our Ministry goals this year is to bring the secondary school onto the Children’s Home campus.  In order to do this, we need to renovate some of our original buildings.  The primary school is located at the front of the campus and will be renovated with new lights, painting and classroom modification.  Currently, we have 125 students in our primary school and 29 students in secondary school.  We do allow children from the village to pay a small tuition fee to attend the primary school.  We anticipate the same for our secondary school.

In order to renovate the buildings, we will be running a school campaign to raise the funds.  The funds needed are $40,000.  Now, you are thinking, WOW, that is a lot of money for a school renovation, and it is, however, we would like to break this down into small affordable parts.  For example, you or your church could sponsor a classroom, the library, a desk, etc.  The list of individual items is listed HERE.  The goal is to open the school by the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.  Please join us in prayer, that God will provide the necessary funds to complete this project.
